Customer Reviews: Defective July 7, 2010 Solomon (Colorado) I bought this mouse at a remainder store and should have been suspicious of the very low price. It worked great for two days then stopped. I hit the connect button on the underside of the mouse, rebooted and even tried it in another computer, but it still does not work. I did this using many different iterations and many different times, in darkness and with some light on in the room, and no matter what I do it will not work. The computers recognize it and the mouse transmits a signal, but it will not connect. Judging by other reviews, this is not problem that is unique to my particular device.
great mouse, great price! February 1, 2010 Bryan Stutts unbelievably, this is a great mouse. for such a small price, it is very functional and does everything you would expect. don't expect to whoop up on WOW or something with this, but if all you need is a basic mouse you should BUY THIS ONE!!
For a few months, a decent mouse August 29, 2008 Gary S. (Virgina, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This GE wired optical mouse worked fine for a few months. It was much nicer than the old non-optical mouse it replaced, although it's your basic mouse. The motion was good, and the wheel and buttons worked fine for a while.
However, after three or four months, almost every click started registering as a double click in Windows. I found that if I held the button down for half a second, I could usually, but not always, get it to single-click. But it was too inconvenient to have to think about every click. I replaced the GE mouse with a Microsoft optical mouse, and everything is happy again.
This mouse is priced cheaply, but it is also made cheaply. I rate it two stars instead of one because it worked so nicely for a while and was priced right.
